Yemeni Shiite rebels stand amid destoyed mudbrick buildings in central Saada, north of the capital Sanaa, on February 28, 2010, three weeks after a truce was declared between the Shiite rebels and government forces. The truce came after more than five months of heavy fighting in the northern mountains, which pulled Saudi armed forces into the fray. As well as freeing all prisoners and opening roads in the north, the truce which went into effect on February 12 requires the Huthi rebels to withdraw from government buildings, return arms seized from security forces and hand over captured army posts.
