St Patrick's Day parade in New York

March 17, 2010, New York, New York, USA: New Yorkers and visitors from all over the globe lined Fifth Avenue a dozen deep for the world's oldest, largest and 249th St. Patrick's Day parade. NYPD Police Commissioner Ray Kelly was Grand Marshal and was joined by Mayor Michael Bloomberg. The parade passed by St. Patrick's Cathedral where Cardinal Edward Egan and Archbishop Timothy Dolan greeted dignitaries and parade goers.///The Catholic church is also present at the parade, positioned right in front of St. Patrick's cathedral, the faithtful can stop and salute Archbishop Timothy Dolan ( seated right ).  ( automatický překlad do češtiny  ) ( zobrazit originální popisek v angličtině )
