The majority of the attendees treat the area with great respect for the tens of thousands of fallen soldiers who died there, however, there is a group of those who act carelessly and simply continue the party they began on arrival in Turkey. The party atmosphere is almost tradition now, with a huge amount of celebration taking place compared to the short ceremony at Anzac cove. For many, it is often a three day trip from London where most of them are on working holidays.
