The celebrity studded Trousdale Estates - Los AngelesThe celebrity studded Trousdale Estates is an exclusive 410 acre enclave of luxurious homes in Beverly Hills. It was developed in the 1950s and 1960s and became right away a concentration of celebrity residents that appreciated the extravaganza of hillside architecture.The Trousdale Estates are the 425 acres where the famous Greystone Mansion sits. Paul Trousdale bought 410 of the acres in 1954 and sold parcels to celebrities who wanted to build custom homes in the 50s and 60s. Stars like Groucho Marx, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra or Dean Marin were among the early celebrity home owners. From the 70s to the 90s stars like Eddie Murphy, Burt Reynolds, Raquel Welch, Spike Jones, Dave Navaoor and Carmen Electra and Ray Charles lived here. In August 2011 Vera Wang purchased Burt Reynold's former home for Dollar 9,200,000. Jeffrey Katzenberg (CEO of DreamWorks Animation) just listed his 9,173 square feet house with 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms for Dollar 9,400,000. Among the notable other Trousdale Estates residents were Courteney Cox and David Arquette, Jennifer Aniston, Tina Sinatra, Matthew Perry and David Spade.The Estates with the mostly single leveled homes are close to the Sierra Towers, the exclusive SoHo House and the popular BOA Steakhouse.
