Taobao ordered to regulate products

Taobao.com, Chinas largest consumer-to-consumer (C2C) site, is being required by a subsidiary of the Hangzhou Industrial and Commercial Administration to regulate product sales, reports Today Morning Express. The regulations will mainly focus on food, cosmetics, diet medicine and medical instruments, according to the report. Taobao received 200 complaints, largely related to these products, within the past four months and 300 similar complaints last year.
