Dec. 09, 2011 - Oahu, Hawaii, U.S. - GABRIEL MEDINA is seen slicing a cutback prior to advancing into the Quarter Finals of the Billabong Pipeline Masters in Memory of Andy Irons at the Banzai Pipeline today. In the mornings Round 3 heat Medina defeated T. Logie (ZAF) with a combination situation, Medina had 12.77 to Logies 2.27 (both out of a possible 20.00) to advance into Round 4 where he placed third requiring him to surf the do or die Round 5. In Round 5 Medina defeated Pipeline legend S. Dorian to advance into the Quarter Finals where he will face K. Perrow (AUS).
