Starry Gazey Pie, Mousehole, CornwallA mouthwatering example of a Starry Gazey Pie, served up on Tom Bawcock\'s Eve (23 December) at Mousehole in Cornwall. The dish, with fish heads and tails sticking out of it, is unique to Mousehole, and is prepared at the Ship Inn there. According to legend, the town had no fish because of stormy weather, so two days before Christmas a local fisherman, Tom Bawcott, went out in a storm and came back with seven different types of fish. circa 1980s ( automatický překlad do češtiny ) ( zobrazit originální popisek v angličtině ) | ||
