The new member of the House of Bernadotte in her bridal robes. Princess Margaret of Connaught (1882 - 1920) in her wedding gown; the overdress and veil were of the most exquisite Carrickmacross lace, both the gift of the ladies of Ireland. The design of the lace was based on the shamrock, the fleur-de-lys and the meadowsweet.
