Painters sell their works at the Florian Gate in Krakow, on 9 May 2005. Krakow, with 750,000 inhabitants, is located in the south of Poland. The Vistula river runs through the center of the city. The historical town center was included in the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1978. Krakow is one of the oldest centers for culture and science in Central Europe.
