Billionaire businessman Philip Green gave his teenage son a Ł4 million three-day party for his bar mitzvah - but no present.The 53-year-old retail tycoon hired pop star Beyonce to give a live concert and flew 300 guests to the Grand-Hotel du Cap Ferrat, one of France's best hotels with rooms costing from Ł1,000-a-night.Guests included Pop Idol Mr Nasty Simon Cowell, film director Michael Winner and former Formula One team owner Eddie Jordan.The owner of BHS and the Arcadia Group had a giant synagogue, designed by his wife Tina, erected in the 14 acres of gardens at the exclsuive hotel, which sits on a private peninsula between Monaco and Nice.Brandon Green's bar mitzvah - the initiation ceremony when a Jewish boy takes on adult responsibilities at the age of 13 - was staged on Saturday morning in the temporary synagogue, which was large enough to hold all 300 guests.Beyonce and her group Destiny's Child performed a live concert last night after blind Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli entertained guests on Friday night.The Hotel du Cap in Antibes is famous for its glamour with past guests including Madonna, Robert de Niro, John Travolta and Leonardo DiCaprio.
