A walk around the West End streets of London found clear signs that the nations capital is embracing the idea of both electric and hybrid fuel powered vehicles.Westminster City Council has recently installed a further ten "Juice Point" connections to recharge electric vehicles following the initial trial. Motorists with electric vehicles such as the Reva G-Wiz can now park at any of the 12 "Juice Points" around the West End and re-charge their cars electric battery for up to three hours for free. The G-Wiz car is built in India by the Reva Electric Car Company and over 1,000 examples have been imported into the UK and these vehicles are exempt from the daily central London vehicle congestion charge too.In addition to the growing number of electric cars on the streets of London are the Hybrid fuel buses now being operated by Transport for London ( TfL ).
