''Group hug!'' shout the women of 1100 22nd Ave. N., an ARC house in St. Petersburg, as Alice Wren, 39, Sheila Trexler, 62, and Tina Guilford, 29, as they throw their arms around ARC's former Operations Manager Mike Sautter, 47. When learning about the mismanagement by ARC's owner John Folger, Sautter resigned from the organization that runs a dozen halfway houses in Pinellas County. He's still trying to keep a few going though, because he doesn't want to see recovering addicts, like himself, thrown on the street. He stopped by the womens' house Friday night after speaking with an attorney from Gulfcoast Legal Services to bring them literature called ''The Tenant's Handbook,'' so they'll know their rights and won't be wrongfully evicted. ARC residents have been paying rent to ARC and John Folger for months but that rent hasn't been getting to the landlords at many of the properties, so the landlords and residents are now being forced with foreclosures and evictions, respectively.
