FOUNTAIN | Times .(09/01/2011 Tampa) Luis Alvarez, 46, of St. Petersburg, scans a folder of information from Concrete Technology Incorporated at the RecruitMilitary job fair at the Straz Center on September 1, 2011 in Tampa. Alvarez is currently between jobs and has been looking for work for the past six months. He says he has background in customer service and information technology and wants to find a new job in one of those fields. He expressed disappointment that companies with booths seemed to not be spending much time with candidates. ''Most of them are telling you to just go to the website,'' he says, adding that he expected to be evaluated by recruiters at the fair. [Edmund D.
