July 17, 2011 - Grassy Key, Florida, U.S. - - GRASSY KEY, FL - Gabby DeSouza visited the Dolphin Research Center in Grassy Key Sunday. Here, she enjoys a dorsal pull with a dolphin named Santini. ''It felt like a hot dog or boiled egg,'' she said. ''Oh my god, I loved it.'' ''She's a wonderful special needs dolphin,'' said Joan Mehew (cq, not pictured), the center's Director of Special Needs. ''She intuits needs. One of the most exciting interactions is the dorsal pull. Santini will take her for a wonderful ride. She'll come back and do hand shakes and give signals. It is educational and recreational. Gabby will see that she can do this.'' Dolphin Research Center is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit research and educational facility.
