Eastern Europe's Jewish Patrimony

Throughout Eastern Europe, the Jewish cultural heritage is today being considered. In Eastern Poland, the town of Suwalki consists partly in a small Jewish community, who wishes to revive its patrimony. Inhabitants have discovered that the old Jewish cemetery had been dismantled and that gravestones had been used in the public constructions. They now want to restore it. In Prague, the eldest synagogue of the city and the traditional Jewish district have become a highlight on the tourist's agenda.
