Brereton Sturtevant

Brereton Sturtevant, of Wilmington, Delaware, holds her certificate of appointment following her taking the oath of office as examiner-in-chief, board of appeals, U.S. Patent Office. She is the first woman in the history of the Patent Office to serve as examiner-in-chief.
